Prescriptions
Get your eyeglass or contact lens prescription renewed in just a few minutes!
Our prescription renewals are only for active glasses and/or contact lens wearers that are happy with their current prescriptions. This is not a comprehensive eye health exam with an in-person doctor.
An in-person doctor visit is recommended every 2-4 years.
Here's how our Prescription Renewals work:
- You will be asked a series of questions about your health and vision.
- Using your current glasses or contacts, a visual acuity test will be performed to determine how well the current prescription is working for you.
- If your glasses are unusable or lost, a written copy of your most recent prescription is required. In this case, an in-store optician will use a trial frame and lens kit for you to perform the visual acuity test with your written prescription.
- For contact lens renewals: their boxes, trays, or a written prescription is required. The doctor will not renew if it has been more than 2 years for an in-person eye exam.
- Our off-site Idaho state licensed ophthalmologist obtains the client’s data, reviews the information, and determines if the client is eligible for renewal. If so, the doctor then issues a prescription that's good for 2 years and for only $45!
For questions regarding eligibility on the prescription renewal, please email or contact us by phone. A person's eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of the off-site ophthalmologist once reviewing the client's data.
Payment is due at the time of service. If we are unable to renew a prescription, $20 will be given for in-store credit.
We strongly recommend that you get the health of your eyes examined periodically even if you aren’t experiencing any vision problems.
Please follow the advice of your doctor.
